TORAH COMMANDMENT TO LOVE THE CONVERT TO JUDAISM

Image result for love a convert to judaism

Do you know a convert to Judaism? To be so lucky! Are you a Jew? To know a convert to Judaism and to be Jewish, God in the Torah commands you to love him. Who do we love? Is there really love in our religion that I did not know of before? Yes, we love God first, and we also love converts to Judaism. We also must honor but not necessarily "love" the Levi and Kohen Jewish Priests. Love? Yes, we reserve all of our heart as lovingkindness for the convert to Judaism!

Do you know HOW to love the convert to Judaism? Love is a strong word, if we say we love someone but the person we love does not reciprocate our love, it is a messy situation. The convert needs to know that we are expressing our love for him and why and who and how and when. How can we teach a person how to love? By example, we love him so he knows what love is and then if you are deserving he loves you back.

Give the convert gifts, material objects of ritual to the Jewish religion, items that he would like and remember you by. Feed him foods you would feed to a King. Smile at him and convince him you really do love him and acknowledge the Commandment in the Torah to love a Convert. Compliment his clothing, encourage his Jewish studies, invite him over to your house regularly for parties.

Let him know you love him with all of your heart and soul.

Call him your "sweetheart".
