DO WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO EVERYDAY

Image result for please god

What is it that you love to do, what brings you the greatest joy? Are you a people-pleaser in general or do you try to please yourself, first. If by pleasing others these generous actions bring you the greatest of all joys, then by all means do them!

If you know someone who enjoys flowers, bring them a beautiful bouquet, encourage them to succeed at gardening, tell them they have a "Green Thumb" if that is what they want to hear, if that simple loving-kind compliment would bring them joy.

If someone loves birds, buy them a birdfeeder and put it up in their backyard. Keep bird food, seeds in the birdfeeder for them, carry the bags from the store to their house and watch the birds being happily fed. Sing along with birds, hum with the Hummingbird. Whittle a piece of wood along with the Woodpecker. Enjoy the outdoors even if it is just from looking out of a window toward the outside, opening a window, getting a nose full of fresh air and enjoying this feeling of stimulation from the ocean/sea breeze.

Want to have company but live alone? Or are widowed, motherless or fatherless? What to do in these cases? Call, just say "Dear G-D..." beckon to G-D and ask Him/Her to be with you, near you, to touch you, to be the scent of perfume in the air that you smell, to accompany you wherever you are and wherever you want to go. Ask G-D to be your Leader and also to be your Shadow, to be the creamy white middle sugary inside of an Oreo cookie with G-D being the chocolate on both sides of you, the chocolate cookie sandwich as the taste in your mouth, craving more, always to be near G-D, G-D being everywhere you want G-D to be, to be in thought to thought conversational dialogue with G-D, anytime it pleases you and therefore pleases G-D.

Thanking G-D every time you sense something beautiful or meaningful, thanking Him/Her for the presence of miracles in your life and asking Him/Her for more. Sing pleasingly to G-D a song of Hebrew language blessing, whether you are in a minyan or not. Pray for those who need help and ask G-D to keep you and your friends/family safe from harm and in good fortune.

If what you love to do is pray, do it everyday! Do what you want to do, without outside approval from others, do it to please G-D. It will be this loving/thinking relationship with G-D that will provide you with enough emotional sustenance to last a lifetime with greatness.
