Shabbat In a Land of Peace

Walking, eyes blind and deaf to hate by choice, Mighty God's commanding whispering peaceful voice stronger, more keenly identifiable, peace in seagulls, in subtle silence, quickened quietude. Tomorrow, prophecy, future will be Shabbat, predictability. Safety, locks, guarded security, mezzuzot, 115 doorposts: my happy home. Safety in numbers, in numbness. 1 God. One-ly one. Blue Chanukah ribbons on green greeting cards, growth, peace notices sent by enemies. Psalms in my palms, always really reaching for David's gracious gifts, King David, melech, sovereignty, ancestor. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Chanukah. Merry Xmas disappearing, deleting like an email, Balaam went too, logs on a fire, burned, no more. Years down the road, a true Mashiach. I see him, everyday, loving care. Kindness, mercy, love, justice, strength, humanity, intelligence, wishes becoming prayers, luck becoming blessings, reeling ravens becoming floating doves, a complete intense story, a complete sensible Torah. Likeability in lights not deathly darkness, Chanukah, spiraling, mysterious yellows, bon fire. Dancing, hurling fire bombs into garbage. Peace on Shabbat, sunless days and fireless nights, songs, Torah scrolls. Stand[ing] For Israel, Israel stands for God. God stands for Israel. Crying Kaddish without tears. No mourning, no more triggers, no gunning, distanced, dreaming in a land of peace. Shabbat Shalom.
