HEAR SEE AND SPEAK NO EVIL

Image result for hear see and speak no evil

How to speak with intelligence, to speak Words that God wishes you to speak, Words of Torah, as though heard from God Himself? To hear no evil, we must exactly that, hear no evil no wickedness no words that destroy the goodness of your thoughts, nothing that could hurt you or to hurt others.

Hear no evil, to use earplugs? Yes, if necessary, not to destroy your hearing abilities, only to have selective hearing, to hear what would increase your knowledge and to not hear words or loud ugly sounds that would decrease it.

Music? Yes, if it coincides with your wisdom and brings you thoughts that cause actions that cause loving-kindness and understanding of people, to send compassion to those you love. To ask God to speak to you so you hear Him and can transfer His Words to others. Like Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, who heard God and spoke His Words to the Israelites and Pharaoh to free the Hebrews from slavery. To not yourself to be a slave or imprisoned, to listen for His guidance, not to have idols or images to worship, to firmly only seriously worship one God. Not one hundred gods, just one. His name is Adonai. We as humans are made in His image.

See no evil. Yes, we cannot rely on photos of images of people we love, if we just see these pictures we do not need the company of the real thing, the real people. Instead it is just an image and not the real person. The second Commandment forbids us from creating images of people, the lands skies or seas. What to do instead? To instead use your imagination to see that which brings you joy, to envision a picture in your mind of those you love and those you wish to be in contact with. To not see black, instead to see white. To see yellow because it brings you happiness. To choose what to see when and what not to see. To make an effort to glare with your eyes at beauty. To look deeply into the eyes of your loved ones, your family and your friends, to see their sincerity and to feel the warmth of their love for you and to show them your love for them.

Speak no evil. Use Words you have read in Torah and soothingly whisper righteousness into the ears of your loved one. Tell him/her you love him and do not hold back these words, make sure s/he knows this and use your beautiful speech, a singing voice, a flow of words like the flow of a pure sparkling stream of water, a bubbling brook.

Hear see and speak no evil.

CUNNINGLY KEENLY AND QUIETLY

Image result for cunningly keenly quietly

What do you hear or not hear, and what do you know but do not know? What you don't know won't kill you, take a bite of the Apple from the Tree of Knowledge or do not. As Adam said, "But she Eve forced me into it!" Not true, he Adam wanted the apple and he bit it on his own accord. Still have the taste of this apple in your mouth. Good, we are glad you are being fed. We are supposed to love you, but we do not say we love you and our actions towards you are disconnected, is this what love is?

Find your family and build your bridges with them. Give to them and take from them. Not a Fairy Tale, real people who gave you birth or are your siblings or are your children. They are yours, for you only as you please, to have a Sister who is your friend for life. To have a Brother who is older and went before you, to see him as a Mentor, to walk in his footsteps. To be well fed, to always have shelter.

When you are alone, you are never really alone. You have these memories of your loved ones, the deceased loved ones who you can call and be in their spirit of good company.

Yitzkor, or Kaddish, or a Memorial, however whichever, when you find and designate the time to pray to their spirit, you are in immediate company of another, of them. To pray to God, again He is in your company and will not leave until you tell Him to leave or to tell Him never to leave.

So, we have these blessings from God, and from Him His blessings are all ours, "cunningly, keenly and quietly".

WE ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD

Image result for we are made in the image of god
What does God look like? God the Father, our dad, the Al-mighty One True God. The God of Sarah and Avraham. The God Who we never met, although we meet everyday, as we awake in the morning and he helps us out of bed. We wash our hands and he cleans them with just simply pure water. Who is He? And what does He look like?

If we are made in His image, then all of us, every human being, is made in God's image. You look like God and I look like God. We all, everyone everywhere are images of Who is this God. Can you feel as strong as God and as strong as a bull? Can you feel as kind and loving as God, His soul being inside of you. Your heart containing two souls, beating regularly, needing love and so turning to God for this love. Loving how you look, loving your image in the mirror?

God loving you back as you love yourself. Touching your knees tenderly, and massaging your neck. You have the body, heart, and mind of God's. God looks just like you. A clone? Perhaps you could think of it that way.

Everywhere you look with your eyes, God is steering you in this direction, His eyes are your eyes. Ask Him to direct you, to love yourself as you love Him. Follow Him in His lead to see beauty in nature and in other human beings. Speak through His mouth as Aaron was the spokesperson for Moses.

Sipping cool sweet lemonade, kissing the air as you kiss His image, His entire embodiment being yours as well.

Never lose Him, beckon Him back day after day, week after week, everyday of the year.

Blow Him a kiss as you also kiss a mezuzah. Think of Him fondly, ask for His help, praise Him and thank Him with the music on your lips of cymbals and lyres.

Love that is true, sincere, unconditional and eternal.

I HAD A DREAM THAT BLACK LIVES MATTER

Image result for i have a dream

What was your dream? Can a dream come true? Ask the Torah Prophet Joseph who prophesied for the Pharaoh. His dreams got him out of jail and out of slavery. He survived a pit of lions. Never once scathed, lots of mental trauma, but since his dreams came to him directly from God, he was therefore protected. All people, if you dream at night your dreams are gifts to you straight directly from God Himself.

Do you see spirits when you dream? Do paths become goals that God is urging on you, a place to go, someone who will talk to you. Words, your last words that you awake saying that are on your lips?

To pursue your Dream, as Martin Luther King Jr. the Civil Rights leader pursued his Dream, an equality of all people, all races, all religions, people of color loving "white" people and Whites reciprocating.

How to reciprocate? Offer the African-Americans you know some employment. Help them dig themselves out of their graves. Give them a reason to be proud, daily jobs, helping people and earning money.

Women with children, Black women working at jobs while their children are in school.

A mentor? Barak Obama, their chief and his lovely wife as his companion, a woman who did not take a back seat. Prophet Joseph, yes, jailed, Martin Luther King Jr., yes, jailed. And worse of it all, he was murdered in a motel in Atlanta.

A Pastor preaching peacefully as a warrior without a gun, led by God, like Gandhi, a man who Fasted as his weapon, both non-violent brave soldiers. To achieve peace with other people without violence. Using a shield but not with a sword. Whose shield? The Shield of David, of course. It took just a pebble to bring down a giant named Goliath. Martin Luther King, Jr. did not even fire a pebble from a slingshot, and yet, his wishes to integrate his people with the rest of the people of the world is an ongoing task inspired by King.

Your Dream, Dr. King, is our Dream as well. Let's pass legislation in Congress that will continue your Dreams, turning them into reality.

WHY WOULD A JEW SAY HE IS NOT A JEW?

Image result for truth and judAISM

Have you ever run into a person who lies to you about the fact that he is a Jew and says instead he is not a Jew? Why would anyone be dishonest about this. Does this blow your trust in all Jews, not knowing whether or not anyone is telling you the truth and why Jews would lie to other Jews about their religion.

You can answer people who have the question posed to you, what is your religion, you can say "I am Jewish" or you can say "I do not discuss religion or politics." If a Jew denounces the fact that he is Jewish, he feels a shame to be Jewish instead of pride in his Mother, Father and his chosen religion, as was chosen for him by his parents. This dishonesty makes all Jews look bad. No, he is not saving his life by lying about his Faith, he can choose for anyone he wants to know about his religion or not. But if we are going to show the world about a good example, then we have to "come out" about our Judaism, like did Queen Esther. Next holy day? Purim is coming at the end of February. Why is Purim dated on the lunar calendar as to be here in February? Because after our Maccabees win the fight on Hanukkah and the light in the Temples becomes eternal, we need to know it is safe to tell people what is our Faith.

Yes, it looks very bad to lie about what is your chosen religion, there is no good that comes of it. Be honest, forthright, and proud, say you are a Jew, and when he asks "why?" say you were born that way.

GIVING AND RECEIVING DURING THE WINTER HOLIDAYS

Image result for santa claus

Here we are a few days before Christmas already into Hanukkah. We at this time have an obligation, we all do, so what is our obligation? The TV sets are screaming for sales, the shopping malls are decorated and the outside trees are lightened. Evergreen as well as palm trees, all around the world in every climate, warm tropics and/or the cool Midwest. Where are you? What is it that you can do, no matter where you live to fulfill your obligation this season?

To give money? To give a gift? To send a friendly email, to mail a greetings card? To donate to your favorite cause? To donate scarves and gloves? To give to a food pantry. To stop on the street and give money to a beggar? Or is this going too far? He washes your car windshield and then asks for money. Do we ignore this or could we reciprocate? Just coming back from a store, have a loaf of bread you can spare? Give it to this beggar if you need to know he will eat and not spend the money on alcohol.

Decorate your homes, install colored lights and paper cut outs with seasonal designs, try to observe the cheer of this season and not feel overwhelmed. Whatever religion you practice, this is the time to worship and give to those who need it.

Is there a non-profit organization asking for your donations? You can give online, simple and easy, just a click of your computer mouse away, to send a donation through cyberspace straight out of your bank account.

Is there a family member who you could assist? An elderly or a baby? Do you have coworkers in your workplace who would love it if you gave them a box of chocolates?

Obligations? Yes, now we know what they are. If you can give anonymously, and not need a reward, this is the purest and best way to give, not to cause your gift recipient shame because he cannot reciprocate.

Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza: all around the greatness of this wonderful wide world. Give and receive, ask and tell.

To feel the goodness and love of those who can take from you and from those who give to you.

HOW TO DEAL WITH A BULLY

Image result for how to deal with a bully

How to deal with people who try to bully you, to push you over and take away your dignity and disrespect you.

What does a bully really look like under his stylish haircut, bifocals, and golden blonde dyed curls? Can you see his venom is red as blood as he spits up like a cobra snake, poison excreting from his two front teeth as fangs you wish to yank out. How can we push him over before he pushes us over? Can we avoid a fall without cleats on our boots?

Balancing on a scale and taking more than his share, he is not amusing or attractive although in delusion thinks he is the cat's meow. But definitely not!!

How can we deal with someone whose caring is not for you but he tries to pretend it is? To try to benign his poison by giving him a what? A gift! Yes, to meet hate with love.

To avoid the Cain and Abel story. Instead to be like Jacob the Prophet who met his brother Esau's armies with good cheer and gift giving. Is this what this winter season is all about? The evasion of negativity, turning it into positivity, to meet an enemy square-faced right on and give him what?? A box of rum-filled chocolate!! Delicious! Chocolate bullets that are a stun gun.

He will be so stunned you will disarm him this way and you will win a war because it will never begin.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ARROGANCE AND PRIDE

Related image

Is having pride an okay thing or a not okay thing? What is pride and what is arrogance, how could some people lack in pride of their parent's or children's accomplishments and some do not?

What does it take to put on a golden threaded long, flowing, beautiful skirt and with jewels sewn into a coat as buttons? Why would someone want to look good, to wear attractive clothes and some do not. Are we flaunting our wealth by wearing expensive clothing, clothing that can only be dry cleaned? A skirt is not money in the bank, it is a dressing on one's body that could have been purchased from a second hand store or given as a hand-me-down.

Are we the company we keep or can we be friends with whoever we want to be? People, like birds, flock together when they have similarities, not differences. Can we talk to anybody or are we secluded to talk to only those who are like us?

This pride we have, a pride in one's family and/or friends, a pride in oneself, is not arrogance, if it is mixed together with love. We can show our loved ones we love them by complimenting their achievements. By helping them out with loans or other means so they can do what they need to do. To turn around arrogance and show love and understanding, even to those who do not achieve, but are merely plodding through life, trying their best.

Pride and Prejudice? Can we be proud of our family ancestry and not show prejudice because our lineage is better than other's? Hate crimes are illegal and the courtroom backs this up. To hire the poor, not to just give them handouts.

We have seven days to a week, and this is enough time to try as best we can to admire the accomplishments of others and to be proud of one's own. To show praise to God as first and foremost on our list.

WHICH WITCH TO BE OR NOT TO BE

Image result for WITCH

To count on someone, to count on as without numeral counting but with the counting as in trusting, trusting in a human being but who does not think he is human, instead under the costume of a witch who says she is not a witch but instead is a wizard. To trust in a witch who thinks she is a wizard, and can wave a wand to turn the Red Sea into a Dead Sea. To hope for the end of witchcraft and the beginning of a society of people who know they are human with human limits and humankind LOVINGkindness.

Not to trust in witches or witches who are wizards, or wizards who are witches. Do witches really exist on days other than Halloween? Their broomstick becomes a vehicle on which to travel, but shot down in an Arcade with a plastic arrow, all in fun, never to be seen as a witch flying over the moon again.

Which witch? Do you know how to uncover the metal casing of a witch's heart? Find another hole, another tunnel, a way to beat her at her own game, by not playing her game.

The witch Glinda of the Wizard of Oz does not drown in water or go up in smoke like the other witch. So, it is our choice, to be a witch or not to be a witch and which witch are we talking about?

We are talking about switching which witch and winning a today which becomes a tomorrow, a day after a day, a future of people who are real and do not think they are witches or wizards, because witches and wizards are not invincible, because they do not know how to love therefore their words are empty, untrue, deceptive, not to be trusted.

THE MARRIAGE OF MRS. BIG TO MR. LITTLE

Image result for queen elizabeth
Hello, Hi, Hey, Hey there, uh, you, can you read okay? I hope so, because there is a miracle I would like to share with you! The marriage of Mrs. Big to Mr. Little, a sanctified marriage of the holiest union on Earth and in the Heavens. Take a chair, or rather would you like this throne? We cannot all be Queen Elizabeth who has the longest rule of all monarchs, but we can try.

How to try? Follow directions at work to not disobey the rule book, and at home feel the comfort of a Queen-sized bed in which to sleep. Pull a purple goose-down filled comforter over your head and awake when you hear the red Cardinal bird in your backyard birdfeeder calling you to sing you a song. What type of song? Any song you wish, there is no limit, the sky's the limit, you are the Queen, the Matriarch and all is yours.

Having a husband to fill the birdfeeder regularly, Mr. Little who although is shorter than you can reach the top of the birdfeeder on a ladder. He has a soft voice, gentle, like the dove, but never coos, never whistles, and never sings, thank God! We instead can hear the Cardinal and the Red-breasted Robin who sing like Opera Stars. To offer them food and they sing back to you in joy.

A birdbath? Not necessary, birds are not dirty, although there are birds that eat garbage such as the White Seagull. Any garbage possible on the beaches of the Great Lakes, to chew and spit up, a nasty bird. Same as the city Pigeon, a bird of many colors but a selfish aggressive bird, chasing away all smaller birds, so, to lay out bird traps, and squirrel traps.

A raccoon in your attic? It is because your house is the best house on your block and it attracts pets. A Mrs. Big who is tall enough and strong enough to lay out traps, not in understanding of her Mr. Little husband who cannot work at ordinary house tasks, so she gives up her chair to him but he slides off, teaching him how to stay on a chair while you as Mrs. Big takes the Throne.

In awe of Queen Elizabeth who does not have a king, no need of a Mr. Little, if she can do it, we all can do it!!!

AN ETERNAL STUDENT TO BECOME AN ETERNAL TEACHER

Image result for HOUDINI

Who are we? Students or teachers? Some people who never were students thinking they can anyway to teach. Who to teach? Who to teach what? Better to learn what not to teach and instead learn to continue to learn, to know or not know "secrets". To have become a student, before, yes, before the age of three.

To at the age of four learn how to unlock a door that is an unlockable door, a door supposedly to not unlock, to anyway know how it unlocks! Learning at school of Houdini who was able to unlock every lock he was ever strapped into, even to be thrown into the deepness of a sea chained head to toe in locks and chains which he just slid off his body like slimy seaweed, not locked not chained, not needing CPR underwater, a man who knew freedom so well he never could be tied. A brain so keen, a body so healed, always a way out of somewhere he did not want to be. And into a situation where he could teach us how to get out.

Know something too? Know how to get out of tight spots and into loose ones? What is a loose spot? A loose spot is not the spot of a loser but instead the spot of the wisdom of the teacher, to be a teacher even when you are not actively teaching, a good example, a person others want to emulate, a teacher who can teach you the answer you always wanted to know.

What is the answer? LOVE is the answer. What is the question? There is no question.

IS BEING GOOD BETTER THAN GREAT?

Image result for GOOD BETTER THAN GREAT

Seeing two where there is only one, even just half of one, not whole, not wholeness, a piece of Swiss cheese without the holes, riflemen gunfights, holes in cheese instead and not through bullet proof vests, bullets like King David's pebbles stretching on slingshots, impenetrable, pebble stones not penetrable, Fred Flintstone, and his wife Wilma and daughter Pebbles, a kid's cartoon I understand.

What is your name and where are you from? Not to know or understand where on Earth is my birthplace, wondering if you know me, you have lineage so they say but not from David, so how are you? "Great". Prove it, whose life did you save today?

What is great and what is good. Is being good also being great? Is the association of greatness really arrogant and has nothing to do with goodness. The Nobel Peace Prize, a reward of goodness that becomes greatness. Why to live on and pursue each day as it comes? To be a winner of a Peace Prize?

Thinking you are great but others thinking you lack goodness. How to be good and not strive for great. More accomplished if you are good, real goodness becomes real greatness, but this greatness is humbled, delineating into real love and real good.

Great is as a growl from a lazy lion, a lazy lion leader of the pack. Good is a kitty cat, a cousin of the lion, domesticated, a man and a woman's best friend. No growling, just a friendly loving soft vibrating puuurrrrrrrrrrrr...

TORAH COMMANDMENT TO LOVE THE CONVERT TO JUDAISM

Image result for love a convert to judaism

Do you know a convert to Judaism? To be so lucky! Are you a Jew? To know a convert to Judaism and to be Jewish, God in the Torah commands you to love him. Who do we love? Is there really love in our religion that I did not know of before? Yes, we love God first, and we also love converts to Judaism. We also must honor but not necessarily "love" the Levi and Kohen Jewish Priests. Love? Yes, we reserve all of our heart as lovingkindness for the convert to Judaism!

Do you know HOW to love the convert to Judaism? Love is a strong word, if we say we love someone but the person we love does not reciprocate our love, it is a messy situation. The convert needs to know that we are expressing our love for him and why and who and how and when. How can we teach a person how to love? By example, we love him so he knows what love is and then if you are deserving he loves you back.

Give the convert gifts, material objects of ritual to the Jewish religion, items that he would like and remember you by. Feed him foods you would feed to a King. Smile at him and convince him you really do love him and acknowledge the Commandment in the Torah to love a Convert. Compliment his clothing, encourage his Jewish studies, invite him over to your house regularly for parties.

Let him know you love him with all of your heart and soul.

Call him your "sweetheart".

AN EXPRESSION OF GRIEF OVER THE LAS VEGAS KILLINGS

Image result for grief

Sadness, grief, mourning, what to say, no words, nothing to say, silence being the only way to deal with the atrocity of these Las Vegas murders. Firstly to wonder if your friends who live in Las Vegas are okay or if not. Wondering how to reach out to those who are directly affected by these killings, families who have lost their children, children who have lost their parents, an enjoyment of music turning into a massive murdering of innocent people.

An attack on Country Music, Country Music being our country, the country of The United States of America. Music that expresses pride in our nation, pride of our families who are citizens of The United States of America. A type of music that is uplifting and encouraging to its listeners to keep on trying, to keep on being good citizens of a good country, a nation maybe not without flaws, but not to bring the Walking Dead of Halloween to our homes, to our TV sets, where can we go to mourn, to get away, to find goodness and righteousness? Looking for a bomb shelter but the bombs have already fallen and the dead has died.

Go to a quiet place, your temples and churches, your village libraries, a couch in which to sit as you try to comprehend the incomprehensible. The death of 58 and the injuries of over 500. To remember the attacks of September 11, to remember the 6 million killed in the Holocaust, to mourn the Japanese who were killed in the World Wars, to wonder how to put an end to killings after killings. To ban guns, to ban rifles, but what then to use if you are in defense of a crime towards you?

Just to put it all on hold, to use silence and prayer as your way to cope. To find an expression to release your anxieties over this horrible happening. Not to give up on trying to help those who are directly afflicted.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN IN WAITING

Image result for waiting

Take a seat, be in waiting. What are we waiting for? What are we not waiting for?

Waiting in a doctor's office, heart attack or reflux? Swallow some baby aspirin, two or four and wait some more.

Waiting for Godot? Whose Godot? Godot is God with a Hebrew feminine plural ending as OT. God and Ot=something worth waiting for. Can I pass you a carrot while we wait together? You step and lean on one foot and I will lean on the other foot. We can and will wait together. God is coming.

Waiting for the Messiah. Waiting and waiting, waiting as well for Kraft Cream Cheese to go on sale. Cream cheese for bagels. Lots of it, mounds and hills, cinnamon hills. Where are you going? To Har Zion, to Bnai Abraham Zion, going? Nowhere, God is coming to me. I am waiting and waiting patiently, going nowhere, will eat another carrot and then it is your turn.

Waiting to win a game of chess. Win a game of checkers, backgammon, a crossword puzzle, Sudoku, bingo, pokeyno. Waiting to win a raffle. Step forward and then backward, step up off one's heels three times. Say "holy, holy, holy." In Hebrew we say "Kaddosh, Kaddosh, Kaddosh."

Are you in luck? In mazal? We wish you a "mazal tov". We wish you good luck.

Two more days and we will greet all our Temple friends on Rosh Hashanah. In waiting for Rosh Hashanah Erev, and lots more...

Not waiting on Santa Claus. Not being a "Grinch" to not believe in Santa Claus. Santa Claus does not exist, but Rabbis with long white hair and long white beards do exist. In waiting for one's Rabbi. To be in song with him.

A bride in waiting for her groom. The Shabbat Bride through the doorway in a Temple Sanctuary Chapel behind us towards the East. Bow and bow again, bow again, a Bride who is married to God, her Groom every Shabbat Friday night.

Not to need an actual husband, for women to marry instead the good Lord. Not a nun or priest, not chaste, instead the wife or husband of God. God not possessing a specific gender, being human and married to God Who is not a male or female. Humans being created in the image of God.

Where to find God? Look in the mirror.

TORAH AS YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT

Image result for TORAH ENCOURAGEMENT

To want, to desire, to pray, to need encouragement to do what you like to do. Who to beckon? Who to ask for their opinion of your work?

Do you need feedback as a sign, to watch the speed of the puffy white clouds, Aaron died on a cloudless day Miriam died taking all the water in the universe with her, no more water anywhere.

A piece of rock busted open shooting water upwards as an endless fountain, the first volcano, lava, red hot, Moses did not trust in God for God to provide the water. Moses to be buried, but where?

Moses never to see The Promised Land, buried instead in Moab. Moses's passing away with wishes, asking God, "Why have you forsaken me?!"

He so wanted to be understood, a man with a lisp, a Prophet who stuttered, a soft-tongued quiet peaceful man though a warrior too, a man who received his compliments and encouragement straight from God Himself. God speaking to Moses in Hebrew, Aramaic, languages Moses could understand, Moses's obedience to God eternally, except at the very end. He tried to live without Miriam, without water, God took over and told Moses instead He would provide water, but this could not penetrate in Moses's mind, consequence being for Moses to never to see The Promised Land.

To live your life with encouragement from God Himself, to ask God, "What do you think God? How do you like my handiwork?" Getting glimpses of approval, feeling success!

Reward coming down in the form of rainfall, crops watered, a cloud that looks like a smiley sheep, clouds dissipating, disappearing, no flooding, instead a miraculous sign of wonderment, a sign that God approves, God loves, God loves you!

David's descendants looked after, the anointed of David in first place in God's good will to be protected. Abraham and Sarah, all of Noach's children, we are the children of God, the line of David and tribe of Levy, well fed, spiritually sustained and well-watered.

HOT CHOCOLATE MOCHA COFFEE

Image result for hot chocolate mocha coffee

The largest cup of hot chocolate mocha coffee you can find, a cup of it at the end of a colorful rainbow, covered by 4-leaf clovers, chocolate mocha, sweetheart-ed, a cup of delight, real chocolate, thick skin of boiled milk floating atop, slurpy, slippy, warm almost hot, can still taste it on one's tongue many moments later.

Soft brown in color, added pink sweetener and added cow's cream, stirred around and around, to be like a baker, a Baked Alaska, around and around. Tasting it in one's mouth again and again.

More where that came from? Yes, indeed, a bottomless fountain, a spurt of it flying up and then gravity pulling it down, into a cup, a Kosher cup of pure glass, stirring it, after it boiled, a Hershey's kiss, a cup of coffee that kisses you, a gift to receive from God Himself, kiss it back, lick the rim of the glass coffee cup, encircle your tongue around the top and dip your tongue into the bottom and sides of the cup, tasting every last morsel, not any to go to waste. Leaving, however a drop of it left as a gift from you back to The Lord.

THE SHOFAR RAM'S HORN

Image result for the shofar

A sound, a crying out, a bellow, a squeak, spittle flying, a horn from a ram's head, two horns from a ram's head, two candle flames on the Jewish Sabbath, two teeth in front of one's mouth, two eyes to observe beautiful firework-like visuals, two elephant's ears on the side of a human's head, hear the call of the horn, the Jewish Shofar, the music played but not a musical instrument, not a trumpet or bugle, not a French horn, a real ram's horn, to mourn or to laugh with it, to warn someone, many of danger, to call the sheep to the shepherd, a way to yell with a horn that indeed does sound like a loud human voice.

Short notes, long notes, teruah! Teruah! Tekiah! Can you hear me! I need you! I am calling to you! Hear me? Listen, Y'israel. "Shema" is the Hebrew word for Listen. Can you hear me? God Himself is calling you! He is returning your love.

Hear me, God, I love You too! Teruah! Tekiah!

A male sheep, a man's horns, not a devil horn of Satan, grab ahold and let the horns search, find and flourish for you, a sweet song of a male sheep, ram, a singing sheep, the leader of the herd, lead him through his own horn, a ram to call angels to stop the sacrificing of Isaac by Abraham, holding the bull firmly by its head, heaps of ram's horns for sale, polished, shining their skin, a tippy end like a flute, flutes to sing, to scream, stand up!

Hear the horn! Everyone stand up! In a wheelchair, we need especially for you to stand up! The Amidah on our lips wherever we go, a new day, a new year, the prayer of the Shehekeyanu.

Women can blow the Shofar for other men or/and women, men can blow it for other men or/and women.

See a picture of yourself in its mirror-like shine, blow as hard as you can! Blow out your birthday candles and make a wish! Blow on the Shofar and sound a prayer. Talk to God. Curly or straight, no two horns sound the same.

An angel's cry, you as that angel, time to beware, a time to tell God you are in love with Him and only Him.

THE LIFE OF A PURPLE POLKA-DOTTED ZEBRA

Image result for purple zebra

A creature are you human or are you a cross breed between a zebra and a mule, what is your ancestry, what and where do you come from? Green eyes, or hazel eyes, part blue part green eyed, deep dark brown eyes, almost black, a dark black pupil of your eye with a retina that exceeds the evil eye, an eye never to before be seen.

Never to cry a tear, waiting for the best moment to cry, to be alone with your tears, tears being transparent, colorless, an eye that cries but only to oneself. To cry for the people who spend their lives in transgressions, from daily transgression to transgression.

Thinking in this war that they won and are winning the game, a good laugh, not knowing what they are laughing at, the audience actually sees nothing, a theater play of dancers on a stage, a bar room brawl, disease creeping in, livers and kidneys failing, hearts that are emotionally broken needing blood transfusions, walking on two legs and then hobbling on one leg, that last one leg also being removed, a man in a wheelchair without legs, is he the star of the show?

One leg gone and then the other. Or is it the woman who gets dialysis? New blood every two weeks? The removal of a right arm, cannot use a right hand if there is no right arm.

When you refuse the holiness of Judaism your right hand will stop functioning, always to bind the weaker arm in tefillin, to use both hands and both arms.

Blessed with a full body that will never cripple. Purple zebra? An ox that storms through a China shop, a show, a two headed Janus, a Gemini, a blue mixed with the color red is purple.

Proverbs: "To wear the color purple everyday."

PETITIONING GOD AND NOT SANTA CLAUS

Image result for god not santa claus

What is it that I want, all my desires will come true as King David tells me in his Psalms. What am I praying for, what is my petition, how can I be helped by God, what should I tell Him I want? Not making a list and "checking it twice" for Santa Claus to deliver into my chimney as he supposedly slides down into the houses of all good children. Not needing to be a child to receive favors, to be a full-fledged adult, to know what you like and what you do not like, to find without luck but instead with a prayer to God to enable you, to enable you to petition Him anytime of the day and season, not needing to wait till Xmas and then finding out Santa Claus is a lie and he will leave you nothing.

Instead go directly to God Him/Herself, to call to God out loud, with pursed glossed lips and to give God sweet song in exchange for your list of what you want, when all you want is Him, nothing else, no material objects, nothing that your neighbor has that you do not have. To tell yourself after David did, that all one needs is the Lord, no one, nothing else, but do not confuse Him with Santa Claus or you will get nothing from no one, just a stuffed up chimney without a chimney sweep.

THE STIMULATION OF SPICY FOODS

Image result for spanish red hot pepper

Foods with a pick-up, a get up and go, a leap higher and more forward, a spice with a sound, a drum roll as you eat bland fish that was turned into a Spanish hot pepper delight. Peppery granules like salt strewn on potatoes, turning a puttering potato into a scalloped dreamy cheese delight like nachos covered with drippy yellow American cheese, sloppy and dripping, a Sloppy Joes sandwich drenched in tomato sauce reddened and loud, like a trumpet, waiting patiently for the spicy Jewish sound of a Shofar, soon to be rattling the windows of all homes near and far, a worldly delight, a time of music and a time to feast. A new day, a new week, a new month, new year, a profitable fiscal year.

To love this spicy taste, to taste horseradish, to eat pickled red beets in vinegar and get a kick from a lick.

Borscht for everyone, with or without sour cream, in a cup as a drink or in a bowl as a soup, heated or chilled.

A lickety-split of a food that screams out loud as you enjoy it but does not irritate the lining of your stomach. Foods that satisfy that you taste for hours in your mouth long after it is swallowed.

A red hot pepper becoming a dream come true.
