WE ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD

Image result for we are made in the image of god
What does God look like? God the Father, our dad, the Al-mighty One True God. The God of Sarah and Avraham. The God Who we never met, although we meet everyday, as we awake in the morning and he helps us out of bed. We wash our hands and he cleans them with just simply pure water. Who is He? And what does He look like?

If we are made in His image, then all of us, every human being, is made in God's image. You look like God and I look like God. We all, everyone everywhere are images of Who is this God. Can you feel as strong as God and as strong as a bull? Can you feel as kind and loving as God, His soul being inside of you. Your heart containing two souls, beating regularly, needing love and so turning to God for this love. Loving how you look, loving your image in the mirror?

God loving you back as you love yourself. Touching your knees tenderly, and massaging your neck. You have the body, heart, and mind of God's. God looks just like you. A clone? Perhaps you could think of it that way.

Everywhere you look with your eyes, God is steering you in this direction, His eyes are your eyes. Ask Him to direct you, to love yourself as you love Him. Follow Him in His lead to see beauty in nature and in other human beings. Speak through His mouth as Aaron was the spokesperson for Moses.

Sipping cool sweet lemonade, kissing the air as you kiss His image, His entire embodiment being yours as well.

Never lose Him, beckon Him back day after day, week after week, everyday of the year.

Blow Him a kiss as you also kiss a mezuzah. Think of Him fondly, ask for His help, praise Him and thank Him with the music on your lips of cymbals and lyres.

Love that is true, sincere, unconditional and eternal.
