WHAT IS ONE?

The numeral UNO. Espanol as one. Echad as Hebrew one. Is one a significant number, only if it is only one, and there are no others? Everything, yes, is separate, but altogether, we can try to imagine this separateness as all joined together, as if a garment, tunic, skirt, sewn together like crochet with a crochet hook, to be knitted as a knot? No one knot. Why not? We have five knots, not just one knot. One blue thread? Is he alive or dead? A thread so thin we cannot see. A red thread means well-fed. A hive with only one bee? How much honey can we squeeze, not enough? We have  three legs, so we need more knees. To be fed a chicken leg, to kneel, to bend, not to offend.

In the case of this named Dying Diane, can she be kept as one, just for fun? Not to have multiplication, or keep a name, unless it is like a bright Hanukkah flame, one thread, singularity, not a beehive, no animosity.
