Hanukkah and Diabetes

Stomach grumbling and crying out for a release from the Atkin's diet. Stomachs all over the world in pain with the unavailability of kosher food. Why eat kosher food at all if one is a diabetic? Insulin is made from a pig--a non-kosher animal. Why exist in the world at all if one is not a religious person and a follower of God. God or god. It is your choice, not mine. But I have a choice and I will not play football with a pigskin ball. I cannot touch pork much less ingest it. If you want to ingest pork that is your choice. My choice is religious Judaism. Get back to Torah--Hanukkah, Hanukkah, why do we even have you on our calendar?? No religiosity--secularity instead--the 9 candled Menorah of Hanukkah lights becomes an idol. We are not to worship idols. But they say: It is cold and we need light. Let us look to the Divine Light of God and not put him aside. Fight the illness of diabetes and cure people who have it. Donate to save lives. But first save your own life. If you are not alive yourself, you cannot save the life of another. Save lives; do not destroy them.
